Strainers for Geothermal Systems

To ensure the greatest efficiency and many years of operation, a geothermal system should be equipped with one of the correct filters or strainers for geothermal systems. A strainer will prevent debris, dirt and particles from entering and blocking the pipes installed many feet below the surface of the water that connects to the geothermal heat pump system. It is best to install the strainer on the supply side or before the heat exchanger in your system.
