100 Ohms @ 32 degrees F ( platinum RTD sensing element) with a 0.00385 temperature coefficient in a three wire configuration. The plastic strap configuration has a sensor potted to the back side of a copper plate and a foam pad creates compression when the strap worm drive is tightened. The final result is a good thermal transfer with pipes that range from 2 to 5 inches in diameter. sensing element is double encapsulated to avoid sensor failures caused by moisture infiltration. Please note that this enclosure is rated to 140 degrees F. ACI Strap on temperature sensors are designed for HVAC or Building Automation Systems. Specific applications include: chillers, hot water systems, tanks, and boilers.
