Solar Water Heater Expansion Tanks
Solar water heater expansion tanks can withstand temperatures up to 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Expansion tanks absorb solar liquid that can damage a system's water pump joints and diaphragm. Expansion tanks also have safety relief valves that activate when system pressures reach high temperatures. These tanks have welded steel bodies with EPDM diaphragms that can endure pressures of up to 150psi.
