Depending on the EXTROL HVAC Expansion tank model, maximum allowable working pressures up to 250 psi (17 bar) can be accommodated. Through the use of a pneumatic cushion, the EXTROL is designed to maintain a positive pressure on the HVAC system during all temperature excursions in the system's operating range.
